In accordance with the Jewish Tradition of supporting education, JCY/Westchester Community Partners is committed to its Scholarship Program.
In 2008 23 scholarships, totaling $17,500 were awarded to deserving Yonkers students, regardless of race, religion or nation of origin. We are proud that we are able to recognize outstanding achievements on a variety of levels, overcoming special needs, music, community service, academic excellence and financial need.
At the Annual Scholarship Brunch the JCY honors Jewish Educators in the City of Yonkers for their commitment and excellence.
The Scholarship Winners, their families and our honorees are invited to the Annual Scholarship Brunch, where everyone has the opportunity to celebrate their achievements, be entertained by local talent, meet our Staff and members of the Board, and receive well-deserved congratulations from the many elected officials who attend.
